Is 9.2 an official public software update?

So is the 9.2 release for general public consumption, or is it just a beta version of the software for testing by those that opted-in to test it? I saw a post on engadget, and I've seen a couple of discussions on here, but there was nothing concrete regarding if this was an official live update of the TiVo software.

Its being distributed by Tivo to non-beta folks.... or else a bunch of beta folks are violating their NDA.... which I dont buy.

Acutally TivoPony has acknoledged that it is in the measured rollout phase.

Beta folks talking when they shouldn't tend to get quashed pretty quickly and the posts removed.
Is there a contractual definition of "official public software update"? or any specific contractual relevance to an update being "official" and "public"?

As has been the norm with an update, as SCSI indicated...

The rest of us usually have to wait from 10 days to a few weeks to have the updated version hit our Tivo...

You might check the "Priority page" see if it shows up there any time soon...

Usually:
A "letter version" (9.2J1, for example), indicates a pre-official release release.

The letter is removed for the official release, and the Priority page is put up.
I came home today to the new 9.2J software. No priority - nada. It even fully loaded it for me.

Hmmmm..
