Today I saw a new error on the iOS app: “you cannot play a show copied from an external device“
Any help to deal with this?

I downloaded some shows successfully on my iPad and watched one. The next day the app would not download on my ipad but would download on my iPhone. I thought I would just watch what I have already downloaded before deleting the app, but now I cannot even watch what was downloaded.
Has anyone seen this error message before?

my iPad has the latest iOS version. The shows were downloaded from a premiere and from a bolt. I have downloaded many times from these without issue. Interestingly, I can still stream.

Man, that app is buggy.

Also having this issue. First time about a month ago. Reset iOS app and tivo box (which deleted all my downloads from iPad), and reloaded everything. Also reset my home network modem and WiFi router just for grins. Re-entered the SSID I wanted on the tivo box. Everything began working again. Now, a month later, I’m remote and my downloads don’t work again on my iPad, same error message. How do we get TiVo to fix this?
