Reposted from Roamio sub forum

[Hi within the past two weeks, I have been getting intermittent freezing followed by a v58 error (channel not authorized). I called the cable company (Optimum) and they send a new signal to the Cable card, I replaced the cable card, but the problem still happens. It does not happening as much on the Roamio Pro Plus that I have, but on the mini it happens a lot. The cable company said that the TiVo is the issue. Does anyone else have any ideas?]
I am having the same issue on a Tivo Bolt, as well as my Roamio and Mini. I also have had no luck after numerous attempts by Optimum to fix it. Hopefully, someone at Tivo will see this chime in.

I have the same problem on Optimum here in Morris County NJ. It's been happening for a couple weeks now. I have two Tivo Bolts and it is happening on both of them. While researching the issue, I discovered that I no longer need the SDV tuning adapters. I was hoping the problem would go away when I disconnected them, but it did not go away. I have not called for support yet. I know how that will go.

Customer service has gone way downhill with them. And to add insult to injury, they now charge 80 bucks for a service call.

Rumor is their “Cablecard System” is not working and it needs to be fixed... I’m sure like all the other BS lines. Unfortunately as much as I love my tivo I can’t continue to suffer from crappy signal, pixelation, V58 errors and the like. I may have to walk away from tivo. Not what I want to do but simply can’t deal with the issues any longer...

Same here with Optimum on Long Island. So is your rumor from someone in the know at Altice?

I am having the issue on my TE4 on Bolt and Edge... It's few channels here and there.. on Spectrum/Bright house Orlando FL... Funny how they, the cable co,, say it's the cable card issues and we need to change to thier box... But when you look inside the box thru the top vent holes what do you see??? A Cable card running this box from them!
