I just received a refurbished Series 3 "HD" unit today from Weakness. I had one when they were new but recently have been using an Edge. Yes, the series 3 was expensive but I was impressed with how fast set up was preformed with no glitches. As I remember in the past, I always had difficulty connecting to wifi with the Series 3 and downloads seemed to take forever. Either Weakness installed some improvements or of course the internet if faster nowadays. Regardless, I am a happy camper.

Do you use it for OTA or cablecars? I've been thinking about getting one because I like the display more than anything and the fact it supports both Cable and OTA. What I cannot confirm is if the Guide/Channel Surfing easily mixes between CableTV Digital channels and OTA HD channels easily.

I have always been OTA only.

The speed is also related to the CPU. Those old models are slow.
