I'm having a strange problem with my series 2. If I unplug it to reboot it, it goes through the normal warm-up and the color comes back fine. As I watch tv, the color slowly fades while the brightness goes up. After three hours or so, the screen is a bleached out over-bright mess. Any ideas? I didn't find this problem mentioned in any other threads.

I have the same exact issue started ~2 months ago. I rarely see it actually fade out. Ussually when I get home its black and white. When it does fade out it will still display redish colors and eventually they go away too. Did you ever find anything out?

What video connection are you using from the TiVo to the TV? The yellow composite or s-video? If s-video try reseating the connection.
