There is no way to check.

You can estimate from the number of recordings in your Suggestions...
Or basically adding up all your recorded content

When you access an HR10-250 via a browser there is a free space listing in TivowebPlus. I've never really cared enough to check it out to see how accurate it is.

You have to hack the unit and install TiVoweb lus on it and then you can access it over your home network. Check out the Underground froum for assistance with that. Good luck.
