HR10 or HR20 or TiVo Series 3

Hi I'm a current DirecTiVo user (HDVR2), but I'm thinking about going HD. With this new love between DirecTV and TiVo I'm thinking it might be safe again to purchase a HR10. The only reason is I love TiVo and I'm not sure the DirecTV brand of dvr is going to make as happy as the TiVo unit. Anyone else have any strong feelings about this?

Or should I just get a Series 3 and get cable?

There is no possible software upgrade for the HR10 to make it compatible with the new HD channels from DirecTV.... and eventually ALL SAT based HD channels.

There are plenty of people with strong feelings... but the best recommendation is for you to read, read, read and make up your own mind on it.

There is the less expensive TIVO HD for cable which seems to be a real nice option for those wanting to stay with Tivo.
