Ok, I took advantage of the mover's connection yesterday as I'm moving into a house next month. They will be bringing out a new dish, but I was told that I had to upgrade my 2 HR10-250's to their new HR20. Yeah right!! No way I'm getting rid of my HD Tivo's yet. I told them no way, so they went ahead with order and set it up. But they tried to explain to me that when all the new HD channels become available in September, the HR10-250 will be obsolete as far as HD channels are concerned. They said that HBO and Showtime HD channels 70-71, and all the other HD channels in the 70's will be in MPEG 4 and my equipment won't be able to get it anymore.
Ok, I can see trying to sell someone on your equipment, but LYING to do it is going too far. There is no way they are moving those channels to MPEG 4 only. I was waiting for them to tell me Superfan was only going to be in MPEG 4 only as well. Not to mention that I still will get all my locals in HD OTA.
