I have Series 3 and Verizon Fios. I would like to order an upcoming pay per view UFC fight. Can anyone tell me how I do this? Thanks

I don't think you can do PPV.. You definitely can't do On Demand (except on the specific cable-company-provided Tivo boxes, which remove other useful features).

The DirecTivos could do PPV.

Call FiOS to order the event (or order online?) then tune to the PPV channel at the designated time. There has been evidence in threads that this procedure works with FiOS and other providers:

If you want to test it before the UFC fight order a movie (or something that is a little cheaper) to make sure.
I've done that with Cablevision, works fine.

Call your cableco (verizon etc) before the event and order it over the phone.

They'll authorize your cablecards to receive the event.
i have two cable cards for my HD and a cable box for my series II and I never even found the channels these things are supposed to be on. Amazon works great. Doesn't help with live events such as sports though.
