So I've got TivoWebPlus and vserver running, except neither will run on startup obviously because I haven't told it to yet. My problem is I don't want to risk mucking up rc.sysinit, but can't find anywhere what I want to put into rc.sysinit.author, as it doesn't exist yet. Am I right in assuming that once created with the right code in rc.sysinit.author the tivo will simply run it automatically?

All the stuff I've found on google so far either has no useful information or is trying to do something far more complicated than I want.

I'm guessing somewhere I need to put these lines in somewhere but I'm also sure there's something else I need.

you need sandertons tivoweb startup script editor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tivoweb you can add what you like & not have to worry about messing up the files
