Hello,

My mom has re-set up her Samsung Smart TV as well as her Tivo box after moving from one place to another, but we cannot seem to find out how to change the time or date on the Tivo. Right now, the time was reset to 12pm earlier after the move, but it is not the correct time as of right now.

She has a Tivo ARRIS DCX860.

Also, I didn't know where to really put this, so I put a thread in this help center section

TiVo sets its own time.

After Power Up, it'll make a connection to the TiVo Service and that should get it straightened out.

You could force 'manual' connections, if it seems necessary.

If you changed Zip Codes or Cable Providers or Time Zones, you'll probably need to re-run Guided Setup.

This is not a traditional Tivo model. it seems to be from a cable company issue. Normally the date and time is set when it connects to Tivo service.

How do I rerun the guided setup?

Me or my mom do not want to reset to default and delete all the recordings we have!!!

You do not need to re-run Guided Setup and No it will not delete the recordings.

All you would need to do is to make a Tivo Service connection.

I have already tried to connect to the internet, it keeps failing because she forgot to grab the cable(s) for it.

Until it's connected to the internet it won't be able to set the time, it's that clear cut.

So... once you do connect that cable... maybe the time will get reset?

It looks like a STB with a Mini A93 mode.
