How to auto-d/l, transcode, add metadeta, and publish to itunes?

I've searched for this and not found it... I'm sure it is out there, but there is so much info... so I'll just ask.

I'm looking to buy a TiVO for the following purpose:

Tivo will record shows
Mac Mini will pull shows off tivo, encode for Appletv, add metadeta and publish to itunes

I want all of this to happen without my interaction once I tell tivo to record the show or season.

Is this possible? I see iTivo does most of the work, but does it do it automatically? Can it?

iTivo will do this automatically for you. You can put shows you like on a subscription list and it will automatically pull and process these shows as they show up in your now playing list, which it refreshes once an hour.

Works great for me and my iPhone 4, especially now that iOS 5.0 syncs automatically on wi-fi. I get to do absolutely nothing and specific shows just show up on my phone!
From what source do you get your programming?

If your source is cable, copy protection might throw a kink in your plans.
You should be okay with FIOS.
I use KMTTG for this. I have a Mac mini on the corner of my desk, and it gets about 2:1 performance. (takes 1/2 hour to process a 1 hour show). This includes the transfer, decrypt, commercial cut, and encode for iPhone. And it's a 2yr old mini.
I used to use iTivo but it isn't working for me since upgrading to Lion (for HD shows, it still sometimes works for SD). I've just installed KMTTG yesterday and I'm trying that out. (It's not as intuitive to set up as iTivo was, unfortunately). If you haven't upgraded to Lion yet, iTivo is great.

AudioNutz, did you install KMTTG in your \Applications folder or is there a better place to install it?
Using iTivo daily on auto subscribed downloads into iTunes and thus my phone just fine on Lion.

Yes,
I typically install it in the Applications folder.

herbman, is this for HD or SD shows? Are you using a wireless connection?

After I installed Lion, iTivo started to take an extremely long time to download shows (like 2 days for an HD movie). Also, it was timing out frequently, and re-downloading the same show 2 or 3 times. Apparently these are known issues on the iTivo page.
HD, and on 100Mbit Ethernet.

Maybe check firewall or filtering settings? Maybe you have a bad cable somewhere or something else is sucking up all your CPU?

I'm using wireless.
