I have come close to the $100 mark, but haven't crossed it yet.
I might have crossed it the month I cancelled the HD Access Fee, I was late cancelling it, so I got charged for a half month after the free ran out.

I'm sure I'll take a flying leap over that barrier as soon as I break down and call D* and request my HR20 and slimline dish.

Right now it's:

Total Choice, DVR service, 2 D*TiVo's, 2 standalone receivers, HBO and SHO.
Add in this garbage

Utah Video Service Tax 5.80

For a grand total of $98.75

BTW, if I could only pay D* $9.99 for HD programming, I'd still be a customer. It's the -"Oh you have to sub to a base Pkg, DVR fee, Mirror fee, local fee..... to get the HD Pkg" nonsense that drove me away.

So what are you paying to the cable company or Dish then. It seems like they all charge these fees in some way or another.

Zero - I've dropped down to FREE OTA HD +Tivo sub fees.
I pay $15.26/mo for an S3 and THD. 99.99% of what I watch is HD locals.

$165.88 per month but only $135.31 after discounts.

I just have to call back every 6 months to get the discounts re applied and hope I get a good CSR or they won't give the discount.

One time I had a really mean CSR that said I had been receiving do many discounts over the last few years and that she was going to comment my account to not give me any more. So I had to call back and threaten to leave and got a retention person to set it back up and have been getting them again for the past several months.

Wrong. The absolute minimum would be $25. That includes basic (about 40 channels + locals ) plus one international channel. But who in their right mind would want a small package like that?

Poll intent was to gauge total cost for HD D* subs, not just D* subs, not just HD Pkg fees.

Overall/so far, it looks like the majority of D* HD subs (or those that are contributing to this poll at least) are paying more than $80/mo total.

My cost includes ~$25 for additional receivers and paying for the DNS stations. I'll be making programming/equipment adjustments after the HR20 is installed.

or do they require you to take a $45-$50 base pkg to start/meet the 2 yr commit?

Would D* even give ($19.99 S/H) a sub an HR20-700 HD DVR with this type of package selection or would they charge you $199 + install fees?
