This.Robin's a *****.
It's probably more funny if you eat a sandwich before watching it...The whole Marshall and Ted plot line was probably the worst I have ever seen on this show.
I thought the same thing-- until the payoff at the end. Then I thought it was pretty hilarious. The whole Marshall and Ted plot line was probably the worst I have ever seen on this show.
Haaaaaaveyoumetbarney?Quick question... for some reason, last week's episode gave me the impression that they were implying that that was the first time Barney and Robin slept together. I forget what it was, maybe something the Saget voiceover. Anyway, that's not true, right? They dated for a while before, and I assume that involved sex. Am I wrong?
I don't think they'll ever run out of slaps. The slap commissioner will see to thatI just want to see the last slapbet episode. I record this one at a time and let TiVo delete it. I just want to see Barney get that last slap. That is all I care about when it comes to this show.
I think there are now two slaps remaining after last week's episode.I just want to see the last slapbet episode. I record this one at a time and let TiVo delete it. I just want to see Barney get that last slap. That is all I care about when it comes to this show.
All of this, especially the blech. Let Barney be Barney! Why did they feel the needed to do this to Barney's character?
It's a comedy. Did they think they need to make him a redeemable person?
We don't want him to be. We don't care.
It's just so dumb. The "lead" character, the one supposed to be finding his true love on the show's love life is horribly going nowhere, and the sidekick, the comedy backbone of the show is finding true love.
Blech.

I keep waiting for John Cho to get lost and walk on set.The guy who plays Robin's boyfriend is terrible for that part. Not sure why but he really seems out of place in the show IMO.
I'm thinking they needed to get Barney out of that relationship eventually. I was kind of shocked that they lowered the boom on him that hard though. Maybe like you say, they want him to be sympathetic. It's not working well on me though. There is a big part of me that just thinks he's dumb for letting a really nice girl who was too good for him get away. Why did they feel the needed to do this to Barney's character?

I missed that part apparently. How did they get so high and what were they high on? It sounded like they got a spiked sandwich? My wife and I were betting it was LSD... Not sure how I missed that, but I bet it was because I was talking to you guys. It's probably more funny if you eat a sandwich before watching it...
