While looking up something else, I discovered that "This Is Us" is on a list of TV series, mostly NBC (maybe all NBC), for which it is possible to see every episode for free. I didn't start watching until season 3 when Jack and Rebecca met for the first time. That was something I just had to see.

I'd rather not watch on my desktop. What do I have to do on a Roamio?

It's not on my list of apps and if I want to add one I need a 4-digit number. I know IP addresses have more digits than that, but that's what it says.

The "Add an App" option in TE3 is not what you think it is.

you can't. The only normal apps you have access to on your roamio are the ones that you can check on/off on the apps menu

If you don't want to pay Hulu, Amazon, or Vudu, then there's no way for you to watch it on your Roamio unless you had recorded them from NBC when they aired. End of story.

Yeah this, but if you pay for cable you can sign into NBC with a 30 dollar chrome cast just have to buy the device
