House S04E01 "Alone" 9/25/07

Didn't see a thread for this yet, so I'll start.

Did they get a new director or something? Weird camera work in this episode. Very un-House-y. Was like watching an episode of Firefly with all the zooms and wiggling around.

Anyway, I'm expecting much hilarity from the interview process. I'm stoked at the thought of a new team (even if they do end up wussing out and bringing 1 or all 3 back at some point).

The House/Wilson dynamic was as good as it had ever been tonight. Wilson especially was hilarious with his "I continue to be impressed by the sheer genius of the kidnapper' routine

The heart of the show continues to be the House/Wilson/Cutty relationship. Everything else is tertiary. Anyway, aside from the weird camerawork, I thought it was a great start with a lot of potential with all the questions regarding what he'll do with his team

PS. I haven't really been keeping up on the spoilers, so for all I know Omar Epps has been signed for the entire season or something, and my hope for an all new team will never happen. But I don't know this

I loved it with out the team we got more house/wilson interaction. It was funny to see house trick wilson into helping him break into the patients house then have wilson do the dirty work. I can't wait for the interview proccess to start next week. Should be very entertaining.

Solid season premiere. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Didn't see "the twist" coming at all. Where's Sherlock Holmes when you need him?

The odd camera work reminded me a LOT of "The Office." As I started watching the beginning, I literally thought that it was the wrong show!

Deleting episodes of the telenova from Wilson's TiVo...harsh!

(I wonder if he remembered to clear it from Recently Deleted as well!)

I'm glad the writers know they pull that chestnut out a bit too often.

I'm pretty sure it was the phone he threw out the window, not the remote.

And wilson in the patients house cutting out 'coupons' that turn into the kidnappers note.

Okay, question. They went to a patients house...but it wasn't the couples house? How did they get that address if it was the other girls house and diary? Or did? I loved the twist at the end but wondered about who's house they went into.

Speaking of which, stealing the patient from wilson was priceless. Then when wilson made the whole thing click in house's head, he told him the room right away.

This was a pretty good episode. The Wilson stuff was really amusing and the patient's Mom, or whoever she was, addressing "Dr. Buffer" really cracked me up.

Because they thought the dying girl was the dead girl, so they went to the dead girl's house and got the diary. They just had the girls confused.

To be clear: The deal girl's diary was in the dead girl's house. That's where they went because they thought the dead girl was still alive.

The dead girl's diary mentioned Ben (the boyfriend) and said that she had been unhappy when they were having some issues. House read these entries and, combined with the dying girl's symptoms, concluded that the dying girl was on anti-depressants...which she was. It just turned out the the diary entries had nothing to do with the depression, since of course, it was a different girl's diary.

Heartbreaking. Reminds me of the recent case of the two teenage girls who were in the crash and one got mistaken for the other.

Camera work definitly used some steadicam, as well as the color looked somewhat soft glowy. Reminds me of the very first episode and how the color was very silvery and flat.

Maybe it was a directivo, no recently deleted.
