Wow, I had wondered what became of this. This has been in production for so long, I lost track. Interesting... I wonder if they still intend to produce the other two parts of the originally planned trilogy.

I thought it was coming out on DVD in September: I downloaded a version but haven't watched it yet: Davis/Panzer claims its not the final edit, and quite bad. Highlander was my favorite show, but I'm not holding my breath on this one, since all the sequels have been terrible.

Someone mind cluing me into what exactly happened with this flick? Not Davis/Panzer's final cut?

Highlander was my favorite show too (Hi Phil!)

Its been in production for awhile: so long I can't remember when it started. I forgot about it, until I saw mention of it on the web. The page I found said the DVD would come out in September, but I was able to find a demon that had it, and got it that way. But I read the reviews, which said it sucked, and the production company (Davis Panzer) said it wasn't an official version, that it hadn't been edited yet.

The film has Duncan, Methos, and Joe Dawson in it. It involves a search for the source of immortality. Beyond that, I don't know much.

Yeah, I've read that bit as well, I guess I'm just surprised that this has been in a work-in-progress for so long. Knowing how D/P have operated in the past, I figured this would be out quick.

I've read awful some reviews as well (DVD Talk, Beyond Hollywood; spoilers within) but hey, it's Highlander so I gotta watch. :D

And, Fl_Gulfer, thanks for the heads up!

What the hay. I've seen every other Highlander spin-off (including the cartoon), so I may as well watch this one. There are so many contradictions that it's hard to say there is even Canon for this series.

In this latest epic, the franchise owners search for "the source" of their residual revenue stream, so they can squeeze out a few last dollars from its rotting corpse... :D
