 No way!

Next you'll tell me that NBC is airing a spinoff of Heroes this season.
Ooh, thanks for reminding me: I forgot this week's online graphic novel.
I'll be buying that book, thanks for the link!!!
Wildstorm?
So will Apollo and Midnighter make guest appearances?
I'm excited about this! I tried to read one of the graphic novels on the computer and I found it really hard to read.
It looks like they're going to publish it as two trade paperbacks, as opposed to a regular comic book series. I presume that they will continue with collections for the Season Two web comics as well...

One interesting trivia is that the online comics are produced by Top Cow Comics, a competitor of DC/Wildstorm. As far as I know, Top Cow will continue to produce the web comics.

Even more trivial, Wildstorm and Top Cow are two former components of Image Comics, both of which left the fold (Wildstorm because founder Jim Lee sold his company to DC, and Top Cow because founder Marc Silvestri got pissed off at Image for the behavior of another Image founder, Rob Liefeld, who was trying to poach Top Cow artists for his own company).
The book was just solicited. It's a 240 pp hardcover for $29.99. I'm not sure how much of it this collects--it's the whole shebang for Season 1. DC usually waits a pretty long time before they put out a paperback edition of their hardcovers.

Just FYI (probably anyone reading this thread already knows this): having the 34 comics from Season 1 means it will not have the most recent 12 episodes as of the time of this posting (make that 13 later today).

The original announcement said two volumes, so perhaps the second volume will have the stuff from between Seasons 1 & 2..?
