can this be done

I know this is a strange request. but I have a tivo that I want to get lifetime subscription on it. Tivo gives a discount on new lifetime services to its exciting user. I was wondering if you could and my box onto your account add the lifetime service then transfer it to me in my name. Yes I would pay for the upgrade on my tivo unit and pay you for your time, I could come to you and im sure we can just do it over the phone.

Far easier for everyone involved if you just find a used TiVo with a lifetime subscription for sale.

Open Google and use this search string

site:craigslist.org /sys OR /ele tivo

If you find one you like, email the seller and ask if they'll accept payment via PayPal, including the cost of mailing it to you.

Before you make the purchase, get the seller to give you the TiVo Service Number and check with TiVo to be sure it does have a Lifetime.
