I can’t find the answer anywhere on this…. I’m having a problem setting up my TiVo Series 2 box to work with the following: a Motorola Comcast cable box, a Sony DVD player, and a JVC TV…. Now I’ve seen directions as to set it up with a VCR, but if I follow those and substitute, the DVD for the VCR player, I get nothing. Is there anyone out there who can help with detailed directions or a diagram? This might sound elementary, but I’m having a heck of a time and my family is starting to complain.

The DVD player does not connect to the TiVo. It is not a replacement for a VCR. The DVD player shoukd connect independently to your TV using a second input.
