I second this for ease BUT make sure you dont pinch the one twisted IDE wire as I did when adding the 2nd drive. I had to wait for another cable.fjwagner said:The Weaknees hard drive add is very easy. You pay a premium for buying the upgrade from them versus your own hd, dvrupgrade then hooking it up to a pc but you will be done in an hour. I have done both. Fred

After all of the posts in the HR10-250 and MPEG4; Upgrade Offer thread I called to see what I could do in my case.
I could get the $19 deal and free HD for 12 months ($120) plus some free programming. It hit me that I could have the HR20 and return it after the 2 year commitment having used it for free.
So how about a second hard drive for free plus 2 extra tuners, plus 70 extra HD channels...maybe for free?
Here are the steps if you are interested.

Over and over and over. After reading the same thing 90 times it is getting a bit old. Do you get paid a fee every time someone clicks your link at DBStalk? Why not just take a paid ad out and let your message roll across continuously across the top of the screen.
