When I bring up the channel info and/or the guide, they show mostly as SD when they are mostly coming in as HD. The very few random weird stations shows as HD. How do I fix this?

At least in my neighborhood, Spectrum remaps all SD channels that have an HD equivalent to show the HD feed, at least if you have an HD TV. So the original channel is in fact SD. This is a good thing because many people were watching the SD version because they couldn't remember what the HD channel number was; now they automatically get the HD version without having to use the unfamiliar channel number.

If you want Spectrum to fix this somehow (it's part of the CableCARD and Tuning Adapter mapping, for which Spectrum is responsible) you would have to somehow convince them (Spectrum) of two things: 1) why this is a problem, and 2) how it would benefit Spectrum to do something about it. Since the issue is only noticeable on TiVos, and Spectrum would rather TiVos would just go away, I don't think you would have much luck.

I suggest you redefine the meaning of "SD" in your mind to something other than "Standard Definition" so that this issue no longer bothers you.
