I would like to create a configuration that isnt covered in any of the walkthroughs. Previously I had two 200gb drives and the A drive has failed. (lost all my mods)

I plan to use the MFSLive cd as it fixes the MFSTools swap bug.

I have my original 40gb drive (unhacked, as a backup) that I will use as a source for migration to a blank/new 500gb plus old 200gb B drive.

I know how to edit the fstab to use the partition as swap on startup. I would like to create a 500mb swap partition on the B drive and then use the rest as storage. Any suggestions on how to procede?

I have used the MFSLive boot CD and ran fdisk to create a small partition on the B drive. I then ran the following command
backup -qso - /dev/hda | restore -s 127 -r 4 -xzpi - /dev/hdc /dev/hdd
Problem is that this erases the B drive. How can I add a B drive but leave some space for a swap partition?

So far I have successfully got a 700mb swap partition on the A drive, a 70mb swap file in the var partition and a 700mb swap partition on the B drive to work (the rest of the drive was empty).

All I need to do is manually partition the B drive and Ill be set.
