JUST GOT THE TIVO HD RUNNING TODAY AND NOTICED that my hd recording was grouped in a folder under hd recordings and also individually outside of the folder.


this may be a lame questions but is this the case with the tivo hd? does it place hd recordings in and outside of a folder?

Yes, any program with an HD flag will show up in the HD folder in addition to wherever it would normally be grouped in the Now Playing List

Yeah. I have some with a really great combo of HD, 480i.

They've gotten better at this though. I haven't seen a single instance of non-HD programming showing up in that folder, although I have seen shows missing the HD flag not showing up in there when they are in fact high-def shows.

Ditto here....I've never seen a non-HD show in my HD folder.

another newbie question

do most of you guys leave your tivo on the native,fixed or hybrid setting?

i had always used the native setting with my cable co. dvr but with the tivo central screen being in 720p everytime i want to watch a show or setup up a wish list or anything there is so much flickering its starting to get a little annoying.

is there anyway to make tivo central display in 480i?

Mythbusters (labeled HD in the guide but assuredly NOT HD on the SD Discovery Channel it was recorded from) appeared in that folder this week.
