I am having issues playing a particular video with the TIVO.


First thing I noticed is the video would not bookmark correctly. In other words, if I left the video to watch something else and came back, it would always reset to almost the end of the video in the same spot everytime.

I have reset the tivo mini, even did a factory reset and also reset the TIVO Bolt.

After the reset, the video got even worse as it would start towards the end and refuse to backup . Sometimes I would say " play from beginning" and it would sit there and hang without playing. Other times I got it to play a little but at the same spot it would skip over the entire program and go right to the end.

My brother told me it works fine on the main unit but only has problem on the TIVO mini.

Its almost like the TIVO mini has some kind of corrupted metadata and the player is unable to play the video correctly as a result of it.

Does anyone know what might be going on here ?

Try rebooting your router. Your bolt should be connected to an ehternet cable from the router. The mini should either use Ethernet or moca.
