Call them tomorrow, speak to a supervisor, and make sure they understand that they need to test the cablecards first, in their office, before bringing them to your apartment. But from what I've seen, most cablecard installs in NYC seem to be going well.
Having Cablevision (Brooklyn) install cable cards for Tivo HD: Any tips?
I just received my Tivo HD today and am scheduled to have someone from Cablevision in Brooklyn to install the Cable Cards this Thursday. Does anyone have tips to maybe help the process along? I've heard so many horror stories from this site and am hoping to minimize any problems along the way.... Thanks.
