This poll is for those who have an S3 or HD, and have had pixellation problems. If you did not have pixellation before 9.1, and now you do, this poll is not for you. Start your own d*mn poll. :D

I have had my S3 for almost a year, and have had bad pixellation for 3-4 months on a few channels, mainly ABC/NBC HD (cable via Comcast). So bad I finally ran an external antenna so I could partake in the Fall TV Season.

Since 9.1 about a week ago, I have been randomly watching/recording the problem channels, and have had ZERO problems. Pixellation seems to have gone away. AFAIK, TiVo has said nothing publicly about this release helping with this problem, although some people have said the CSRs have mentioned it to them.

What about you? Better, worse, no change?

Astrohip,

As you know, I've been experiencing the same problem in the same service area on the same channels as you. Anyway, 9.1 downloaded and installed last night. I had the Today show on tuned to 312 for about 1.5 hours this morning and didn't see any pixelization whatsoever. I had Good Morning American on 313 tuned in for a while, too. Same result. Mind you, it's been less than a day so I'll continue to monitor this. Hopefully (and, perhaps, apparently, or at least seemingly) the software update contained "the fix", whatever the hell that is.
