I was surprised to not see a season 1 thread when I did a titles only search.

I've just started episode 3 of the second season. Seems pretty good so far. One thing I've noticed is that Mireille Enos seems to always have a slightly pissed off look on her face no matter which show I've seen her on.

I felt bad when Sandy got her ass kicked last episode. I like her extreme naivety which means something bad will probably happen to her later on or she turns evil. That's just clueless speculation on my part.

I watched S1 and enjoyed it, but for the life of me I can't remember much about what it was about. That's the problem I have with these shows that I binge on and then it's a year or more before they come back. So I'll probably go back when I'm ready to watch S2 and rewatch the last episode of S1.

There is a movie version of Hanna (different actress) that covers some of the same things that S1 did. I thought the movie was pretty good. Also S1 was good, and I'm halfway through S2 and liking it too.

Of course, the movie had going for it four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan, slumming wonderfully.

I was surprised that season 2 was only eight episodes but the good thing is that there weren't any glaring dead spots in the story. They didn't try to stretch eight episodes of story into ten episodes.

On the whole, I liked it a lot. My only issue was that the guy in charge of Utrax was the dumbest person on earth. Every move he made regarding Hanna, Clara and Marissa Wiegler was stupid but it would have been a very short series if he had done what he was supposed to do - eliminate all the complications to his plans.

I knew the lovable ditz Sandy was going to turn evil. Jules seemed to drop out of the story after she set Hanna up on the train. I'm guessing that Sandy definitely and maybe Jules will be Hanna's adversaries next season.

I watched the movie over the weekend and a little bit of the finale of S1. So there are at least a few differences between the movie and where S1 ended up, but I won't go into them here since not everyone saw the movie, but it at least helped me remember what the series was about.

Finished S1 earlier today and starting S2. I find the show very slow at times. Couple times in each episode there is a scene where nothing much is happening and some cool music is playing. Usually see this in a 2 hour movie but in a 42 minute show it sticks out.

I didn't read the post for fear of spoilers, but I'm surprised there isn't a short 2 minute recap of season one.

With these streaming shows having 8-10 episode seasons and generally a year between seasons it would be helpful if they pieced together something to remind us of at least the highlights of what happened previously. It is annoying to have to go online and read a refresher.

Almost finished with S2, and I like it a lot. Yeah, lots of teenage girl angst, but I think it's necessary to "normalize" them.
Plus it's an amusing change of pace to see teenage girl angst in the context of genetically-modified killing machines.

Although some might say that's not much of a change of pace... :D

I think I recall seeing a S2 E0 so that might have been the recap. I always try and rewatch the last episode of the previous season and usually that brings back most of what I didn't remember. Also, in this case I watched the movie this was based on right before digging into S2, and even though there was quite a bit different, it was enough to remind me about what the premise of this was.

Just finished S2. Overall I enjoyed it. It was different from S2 but I didn't think it was not as good. I was a little disappointed in the Clara character. She was a wooden robot when we first saw her (understandable) but she remained a wooden robot pretty much to the end. I doubt the actress could not "act" so I assume it had to be the direction.

I'll miss Leo.

The kill count on this show is ridiculous. No operation could get away with that much "collateral damage".

I enjoyed the season. They definitely set up a new season so hopefully there will be one.
