Guide display while watching recording

:confused: My memory may fail me but this has been bugging me lately.

Was there a time Premeire would only display the Guide as an overlay to a LIVE show?
Recently I noticed that while watching a recorded show I could pop up the Guide to see what was currently being broadcast.
Is this a recent update or early Alzheimers?

I'm pretty sure the Guide-over-a-recording has always been available on the Premiere. My THD and OLED S3 can do that and they're running 11.0.
