I have a DTV SD-DVR40. Worked fine for over a year.

Between Fri. evening and Sat. morning something happened. I turned on the TV and the DTV shows a gray screen. Not the gray "Welcome. Powering up..." screen. Just a gray BLANK screen.

I then power cycled it. Again nothing. Looks like I'm not getting any output. Anybody know what my would problem be?

It's not starting in standby mode is it?

If not, it's the hard drive probably.

I'd unplug and plug in your video cables just in case you have a bad/poor connection.
