After three epsiodes, I'm liking this show. I'm happy it's getting good numbers and that it will be around for a while.

Good news. Not my favorite new show of the season, but it's definitely up there. It's a fun show with which to kick back with a glass or two of wine

Can I ask if the second two episodes came across as pretenious as the first one? I had a mild interest in it.. but there was a chord that it struck with me that was a bit off putting so I did not watch it again.

In what way?

In that the most all of the characters come very wealthy families in New York and that the whole show seems to occur at some sort of fancy party of some type?

If so, then no. It's the same. Same characters. And so far, most everything happens at some fancy party.

Can't get into it, but maybe now that they know they are staying for the season it will get better. And if they keep repeating on Sundays as that is the day my tivo catches it.

Wednesday is a busy day on my TV -- something like eight shows being recorded. This is one of them. Glad to see it got a full season to spread its wings.

No... but season 2 & 3 *kinda* had a little drama.

But you are right, jsmeeker, Gilmore Girls wasn't in the same league.

Gilmore Girls will probably stand the test of time a little better than 90210, Dawson's Creek and The O.C. Tough to rank them though, never watched Dawsons but really enjoyed the others.

Gilmore Girls was real, the rest seemed to grow more out there as the storylines played out. As far as Gossip Girl, I will continue to watch and am glad for the Sunday airings too, I need them!
