Hello-
I just signed up to get DTV installed. I have a series 2 Tivo and I want to run DTV on it. Can this be done without IR Blasters? I remember I did this way back when I had my Orgional Series 1 Tivo.

You can probably get DirecTV TiVos used on eBay for cheap. And they probably only cost $5 per month each instead of $13.

Then you could sell your Series 2 for a good price.

Just an option to think about.

DTV Screwed up my order and it was going to take them another month for teh install so I said forget it. So I waited untill they had their football package once again and ordered it again. Hopefully they will not screw it up this time.

That seems to be a problem lately with DirecTV.
