Getting Bounced from YouTube & Netflix

I gave my father a TiVo Premiere for Father's Day and after fifteen minutes on YouTube (and/or Netflix) through the Tivo, I started getting bounced back the main TiVo window. If reset the system it will fix the probelms, but then fifteen minutes later it happens again. Is there anyway to fix it? I can't keep resetting the system every time.
