I currently have the standard HR44-700 receiver with two mini C51-700 devices in the bedrooms.. I recently mounted my TV above the fireplace and would like to remove as much wiring as possible and understand that the Genie 2 is my solution to this. Issue right now is that they want $300 for the initial setup of the Genie 2, plus $100 for each bedroom connection. That is just the installation cost, not the additional increase in monthly fees for the new equipment. My question is the Genie 2 worth it? I hate the lag that I have with my bedroom devices with regards to the remote control, is that something I will see with the new wireless receiver? All in all, I am trying to determine if it is worth the investment, just to hide some wires.
