The problem that I have is with the Galleon 1.9.2 music app. When streaming MP3's, the audio "skips" in the middle of tracks or the beginning of tracks are garbled.
I am using a 100 Mbps wired network with no other nodes on the network beside the Tivo and my PC. I changed the MTU setting on my NIC to 1500, however it has not helped.
One thing that I have noticed, is that Galleon streams the music track second by second in real time to the Tivo unit. If there is any packet loss, it will show up as a skip.
One resolution may be to raise the priority of the Galleon processes. Another may be to force the Tivo the buffer the MP3 file. That way skips would not happen because of a few missed packets.
Thank you for any advice that you may have.
