aforementioned old thread of woe: Tivo slide remote ribbon cable repair
FREE: 2 non-working slide remotes
I have a couple non functional slide (original not pro) remotes, anyone want them?
I know for sure one of them had a problem with the ribbon cable that connects the two halves. IIRC I managed to replace it but it was flaky and stopped working again (I could probably find some old threads about it). I can't recall if the second one has the same issue or not. I have one dongle, I can look around for the other one.
Pickup in Pittsburgh or send me a few bucks for shipping.
