Question...

I am running FIOS and HD TIVO DTV reciever in my living room. I have two coax connections in my wall and one going to the FIOS DVR and one to the DTV TIVO. My problem is that it only lets me have one tuner for DTV. Is there any way at all to split the DTV signal so I can get two inputs into the TIVO. I know the answer is probably no, but thought I would ask anyway.

I don't know if this will work, but it's worth a try. Try using diplexers at both ends. Diplex Sat and ota together on coax 1 and sat and fios coax together on line 2. Use diplexers to split them back at the coax lines coming out in the living room.

There is a new toy they are coming out with that allows the newer DTV units to do 2 tuners with only 1 wire from the dish. I believe it is currently still in testing though. You can wait on it or run another wire to the dish.
