For some reason on my TiVo bolt when I try to fast forward it zooms through the timeline at about 20X. I moves through a 30 minute show in under 10 seconds. It also does not allow me to jump back 10 secs. This is isolated to shows on TBS (FiOS) only. Anyone else seeing similiar issues?

30 skip works which is what I am doing now but kind of a pain cause if I go to far I can't rewind cause the same issue happens as fast forward. Odd though I have had every iteration of TiVo going back to a series 1 and never had an issue like this.

My guess is it's the remote.

Sounds silly but try new batteries or another remote. Maybe do complete clear of the remote. Codes are floating around here for that.

How does the remote know it's TBS?

The issue is not so much that the fast forward doesn't stop which would be indictive of a remote or battery issue. The show fast forwards so fast that it get through a 30 minute delay or recorded show in seconds.

Reboot and see if it self-corrects.

I have the same problem, only with TBS (unless I just don’t watch the other networks it’s an issue on) and I also have fios. Luckily I only regularly record one show on TBS, so it doesn’t come up often for me.

I finally called tivo customer service about it and they told me that it is a known issue that they are working on.
