No one has started a thread for this? It was a decent episode and had a nice spooky ending. The thing that startled me was the two episodes left announcement. I actually have been enjoying this show.

I've been enjoying it as well.

I don't miss Mike. He was expendable.
His kid is turning into something else though.

This has been a really good show so far. I'm happy it's coming back next year.

Oh, and now we know the alien invasion was 7 1/2 months ago (we may have known about how long before, but we were given more specific info).
Excellent episode.

Nuff said.
I liked this episode. Mostly because they didn't keep keep Clayton around. I also like their solution to the people of Sanctuary. Disarm them and leave them there. That's what they deserve for turning on their own species and aiding the enemy.

I think Pope may have redeemed himself a bit. He could have easily left the kids to die and move on about his business.
They're better people than I am. Every single one of the skitter collaborators who pointed a gun at our intrepid heroes would be dead if I were in charge. Or at least they'd have been kneecapped.

I gotta agree with that. This is not patty cake we're playing at, and it's really not the normal rules of war. You collaborate with the alien enemy, line em up against the wall and pull the trigger, period.
Well, I think they still want to keep "humans" around, the more the better to fight the skitters, but still, I can go either way on the collaborators.

I'm really liking the series, mainly because they are focusing more on the human element than it just being a man vs. alien battle every week. The aliens were no where to be found this week, unless you count Mike's kid, who is clearly part alien (or still talking for them).

Spoiler about previews:

Looks like we are going to find out a LOT more about the aliens next week...do they have some human component?
I may have left Mike's creepy ass kid by the side of the road too. Man, I'm a lousy human being. :)
It's the stupid little things they do that bug me. I like the show overall and the scene where Tom shot the guy in the middle of his threat was perfect. But then they have a sscene where the kids are on the run and hiding and the girl starts playing piano? "They found us!" Yeah, they followed the trail and heard the music.
I hope they rescue the hot motorbike riding chick from the pilot soon. It'd be a waste if she became as skitterized as Mike's son.
I think they should have shot the collaborators because they endangered their children. Didn't they take one kid and give him to the Skitters. I think the son realizes that Mike's kid is a Skitter. I would use him to gain more intelligence.
I liked the remark that the aliens did not kill each other.
I can see if this happened in real life, a lot of factions fighting over resources and not fighting the aliens but laying low and exploiting other humans, much like the cook was doing.
One thought I had...I wonder if the skitters are actually derived from human kids. As they get older they turn into skitters. The harness is what does this. And it explains why the kids can communicate with them.

It would also explain why the skitters baby them as if they were their own kind/children.

Yeah, I liked the scene where the bad guy moved to get behind the son and our hero took a quick step to the left and shot him. Excellent counter. Hey, he reads stuff. :D

The bad guy was just being stupid. He himself said earlier in the episode that Tom Mason would do anything to protect his kids. So of course that means shooting him. Duh!

You mean human kids turn into Skitters over a course of weeks?!?

This. So much this. I like this show but the whole time they are in the house I'm thinking...standing by the windows, playing music, are they really this dumb. They can't be to have survived this long. Bugged the heck out of me.
Yup it had to be the piano, how else did they know the kids were in there? I don't mind plot holes, every show has them, but this was a doozy.

Yes, exactly. We know it's been 7 1/2 months since the invasion. Could be they take kids, turn them into skitters.

If that's the case, this is a FAR worse show than I thought!

(And I'm already thinking it's not a very good show...)

Why would that make it worse?
