I have a lifetimed 1TB Premiere that I’m in the process of selling. It hasn’t been plugged in for a few weeks, so I did updates this afternoon and then started a C&DE. So far, I’m at about 4 hours 20 minutes and counting. My suspicion is that the 'up to an hour' message is generic for the Premieres and that the 1GB drive is the time issue, but this seems an unusually long time. Granted, I don’t think I’ve ever wiped a 1TB unit and any unit that I did wipe was several software versions ago.

Any thoughts?

I left it running at the office overnight, just in case. I’ll check it in an hour. If it’s still stuck, since I’m apparently dead in the water as-is, nothing to lose by unplugging the box despite the warning to wait for the welcome screen?
