My friend has a Series 2 dual Tuner TiVo and for the last couple days when you press the Guide button each channel is duplicated. I tried a reboot and re-downloading line up data. (connection is by phone line if that matters) No luck. Any suggestions?
He probably has split the cable before the cable box with one end going thru the box to Tivo and the other going directly into Tivo. This is a proper setup, but it will result in duplicates for the basic channels 2-99. Go to the Channels I Receive menu and de-select these for the cable box.
