DTV HD Receiver w/ Tivo question...

I have a LinkSys RT31P2 Router w/ Vonage service and a Hughes DTV w/ Tivo.

Question...I am wanting to upgrade to a HDTV w/ Tivo Receiver. DTV is telling me that my Vonage service won't work with it. Is this true? They said VoIp wouldn't work with what I have now too and it does. Has anyone had any experience with the HDTV with Tivo receiver and Vonage?

Has anyone had any success with calling out through Vonage with their HD Tivo receiver? Is it necessary to be able to call out?

Really, the search button is your friend. Here's a current discussion (in the wrong section of the forum) but easily found with a search. link

Again, asked and answered almost daily. After the 1st call, no more need to make a call. My HR10-250 hasn't made a call in 145 days. My GXCEBOT hasn't made a call in 1,002 days. Both still record just fine.
