But the series 3 / HD does support 1080i picture viewing - if you have the separate download of the HME HD Photos App on your computer. I assume the app works with the Premiere as well, unless you want 1080p and not 1080i. But it's still much better than the 480i the standard photo app supports.
Does TiVo Premiere Support 1920x1080 Photo Resolution?
Does anyone know if the new TiVo Premiere will support viewing jpg images from a PC via ethernet in 1920x1080 resolution. The Series 3 devices do not support that photo resolution - does Premiere? Thanks.

wmcbrine answered this same question here earlier today.
OK - I think I understand. The best resolution I can expect, even with TiVo Premiere, is 1280 x 760, even if the photos I want to view are in 1920 x 1080.
It is hard to believe that TiVo did not incorporate the capability to use the full 1920 x 1080 in the new Premiere box. Guess I will keep waiting....
