Does adding an eSATA drive cause pixelation on the S3 or is it due to poor signal quality? I have had more trouble with pixelation after adding an eSATA drive, but I don't know if the drive is to blame.

Yeah, but it covers it for the Tivo HD. Does this apply to the original S3 as well?

I don't think it does. I have not noticed any pixelation problems with my S3 since I added the esata drive.

I have an eSATA drive hooked up to my S3, and I haven't noticed any additional pixelation.
