I think the answer is yes, but maybe I'm just missing the option. Does CEC only work with TE4?

My wife wants to be able to turn the TV on/off with Alexa. I could get one of those Harmony things, but if the TiVo can do it via CEC I figured I'd set that up instead. But the docs on tivo.com only show the option in TE4.

Another option, the Amazon Fire TV Cube has an IR blaster built-in. It is a combo Echo/FireTV and can turn on/off a TV (and a receiver, if you have one, with the same command). If you enable the TiVo Alexa skill, Alexa voice commands will also change the channel on your TE3 TiVo too. Plus, it runs a subset of Android apps that have been migrated to the FireTV platform (the Fire OS is a forked Android OS).
