I enjoyed the episode.
Yes, Amy was a ganger. Apparantly the real (and pregnant) Amy is being kept by the eyepatch lady. Our theory is that she may have been switched back when she had her encounter with the Silence.
I enjoyed the episode.Did anybody like this episode? I certainly didn't. It was confusing trying to figure out who was who so I eventually switched the brain off and watched it on auto pilot.
So Amy was a fake Amy? Wonder when she got switched?
*raises hand*I wonder how many people are just skipping commenting in this thread because they've already watched the next episode... (we got one behind because of the lack of airing an episode Memorial Day weekend) ..
And yes, I jumped ahead so I wouldn't run across spoilers.
Speaking purely about this episode... I found it rather boring.
Am I the only one who thought that "eyepatch lady" looked a lot like River Song?I enjoyed the episode.

No, I thought she looked quite a bit like River Song. Initially I assumed she was an older River Song.Am I the only one who thought that "eyepatch lady" looked a lot like River Song?
I thought the lines:This episode existed pretty much just to introduce the Gangers and to let you know that the doctor that is killed by the astronaut is actually his Ganger!
(My theory based on the Doctor telling his Ganger that he may survive being liquefied by the sonic screwdriver.)
Re-asses your theory when you go back and watch the 1st episode again and note that the Doctor started regeneration-glowing after he was shot the 1st time. This episode existed pretty much just to introduce the Gangers and to let you know that the doctor that is killed by the astronaut is actually his Ganger!

It's already been discussed. It was mentioned that the Gangers replicate down to the cellular level, so the ability to regenerate is possible.Re-asses your theory when you go back and watch the 1st episode again and note that the Doctor started regeneration-glowing after he was shot the 1st time.
If it is the ganger, I'd like to see the story gyrations they have to do to explain that.
