Im asuming that you have one of the RCN Tivo Premieres with the hack that allows you to access their VOD. The only thing that I can say is that when I watch VOD on my non-Tivo TV (SD TV with cable box) that the FF/RW commands are really laggy compared to the Tivo.
Do VOD RW/FFW controls work?
It seems that the controls are really messed up on VOD shows.
The replay button like lags before it works. The FFW barely works. Sometimes pressing these buttons like skips to the beginning/end.
What's with that? Is my unit broken? Or does it just not work at all with VOD?

I guess you can say it's a "hack", but it's a hack from RCN cable.
