I used to use lots of codes to customize my TiVo usage. Since I've been away and had devolved to the Scientific Atlanta DVRs, I'm out of practice.

I'm hoping to relearn the codes . . . when I get the new remote and am actually able to use my Tivo! But I wonder if they are still effective or has the new software made them obsolete.

Well, with my SVR 3000 will they work again? Or are they incorporated into the new software? Or are they just forbidden by TiVo now?

It is just that since 4.0, we never learned what the master passcode is.
