Was waiting for someone else to start the thread, but I did not see one yet.

I thought it was pretty good. The show is what it is. The characters work for me for the most part.

Was interesting how they seemingly diffused the entire who killed my Dad, plotline so many were worried about from the pilot. I know this is not the last we will hear of it, as it has seemingly taken a turn...

The scene with Donald Sutherland at the end was incredible.
One of the biggest surprises for me this year is the quality of the show. Something about the title made me mad, and wrote it off because of this. A coworker recommended it so I watched the pilot on abc.com and tivoed the latest. I am a big fan, it is sincere, funny, thoughtful and quite enjoyable.

His subtle wince as the combination numbers worked was heartbreaking. I guess he had managed to avoid actually "knowing" until that point, but couldn't not know any longer.
Previously I though he had to know and we were just getting a Camelot redoux situation, but this was even sadder.
This is one of our favorite shows, along with Pushing Daisies. I'm surprised that there is not a long thread on this.

I agree that the ending was very good.
Interesting thoughts on the end. I enjoyed it too, but I suspected some would find it a bit heavy-handed for this particular show.

Yes, I was quite surprised when I viewed the first two episodes last nite...

Could be that many haven't found this gem on ABC yet, it's worth a season pass for sure...

Who's most likely to be the one Nick is after ?
I enjoyed the show a lot and agree with comments above about the end.
+1 on all of the above.

And I'm thrilled to see Petty Officer Coates from JAG on TV again. She might just be the cutest girl ever who doesn't call me "dad." Wicked crush: Renewed.

My concern longterm with this show is that none of them are really likeable. I could see myself going "God, who cares about these people" someday
That wat ya won't miss em when they get the ax...

Could be the producers way of introducing new talent... Not to mention at a reasonable salary.
Wow, this show is good! I so wasn't expecting it to be good, but it is.

+1 on Coates! I couldn't even place her at first, but wow.

Yeah, long-term this show has the potential to get really bad in a number of ways. But so far, so good.
