HELP! I just bought a TiVo Series2 Dual Tuner box under the assumption that I would be able to tape two DirecTV channels simultaneously. I obviously didn't read the fine print in the TiVo ad (my major error). I would have to believe I'm not the first one to do this. The obvious question: Is there any way around this? Or am I just stuck?

There's no way around it.
You could return your Series 2 DT Tivo and buy a DirecTV/Tivo instead. Both the older DirecTV/Tivos and the newer DirecTV DVRs feature dual tuners.

Only the Directv/Tivo units and Newer Directv DVR units have Dual Tuners and can record Two Shows at once.
The Tivo Series 2 DT cannot do this.
